Welcome to the Route 66 Weekly a fun new FREE publication coming to Monrovia this February 2012!! Look for us in your favorite places to eat throughout Monrovia.
Route 66's illustrious history is not only remarkable but undoubtedly instrumental in the development and success of many cities we know today, including the beautiful City of Monrovia. This is the reason behind the name and theme of the publication. A theme the newsletter carries throughout its pages. The Route 66 Weekly includes a news section that showcases funny/interesting stories from around the world; sure to peak interest and crack a smile! In addition, you will find a section dedicated to Monrovia, including events, etc... Each issue also includes a section with trivia, cool facts, famous birthdays, and a memborable quote. Finally you will find jokes, and possibly other activies like sudoku, crossword, etc...
A new issue will come out every Thursday with new content for you to enjoy! The first issue will hit the streets on February 2nd, 2012 so be sure to look for it.
In addition to the content mentioned above the Route 66 Weekly will provide affordable advertising for local businesses. Due to Route 66 Weekly's design their is space for only 32 advertisers every week. All advertisers receive the same size ad, rotated weekly, and they will be protected by exclusivity. That's right, we allow only one type or category of business to advertise in each issue. Once a category is filled by a business it will remain unavailable throughout the course of the contract, with the option of renewing at the end. For example, one realtor, plumber, toy shop, travel agent, dog groomer, etc... In this environment every advertiser gets equal exposure and a direct competitior isn't a few inches away!
